THE FUTURE OF EUROPE – Czech and Polish Perspectives

Občanský institut (Praha), Centrum politického myšlení (Krakov) a CEVRO Liberálně-konzervativní akademie (Praha) Vás srdečně zvou na konferenci věnovanou pohledům na evropský projekt a na roli Česka a Polska v Evropské unii. O „Budoucnosti Evropy” budou z hlediska geopolitiky, politické filosofie a politologie diskutovat nejvýraznější postavy nejmladší generace polských a českých politických analytiků a komentátorů.
Konference se koná pod záštitou poslanců Evropského parlamentu prof. Ryszarda Legutka a Hynka Fajmona.
Pracovním jazykem bude angličtina.

Piotr Kaznowski (1981) – Philosopher (University of Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński, Warsaw). Editor-in-chief of Christianitas Quarterly, one of the major Catholic-conservative Polish periodicals. In cooperation with Fronda quarterly he leads public seminars "Athens and Jerusalem” and “Dramatis personae. The Existential Dialogue of the Future with the Presence”.
Zbyněk Klíč (1982) – Political analyst and commentator. He works at CEVRO – Liberal-Conservative Academy – leading Czech think-tank. Executive Editor of CEVRO Review
Ondřej Krutílek (1981) EU legislation analyst of the Centre for the Study of Democracy and Culture (Brno) and editor in chief of Revue Politika (www.revuepolitika.cz). Co-author of the unique four-volume project Monitoring evropské legislativy (European Legislation Monitoring).
Jakub Kříž (1981) – Lawyer, president of the Czech Young Christian-Democrats. He works at the Department of the Churches and Religious Communities at the Czech Ministry of Culture.
Petra Kuchyňková – Political analyst of the Centre for the Study of Democracy and Culture (Brno). She specializes in the international relations, with a special emphasis on the EU and post-Soviet bloc.
Tomasz Kwaśnicki (1981) – Editor-in-chief of
www.kresy.pl – major Polish website dedicated to the heritage of the former Polish eastern Frontiers. He is also a member of the editorial board of
Fronda quarterly.
Michał Łuczewski (1979) – teaches at the Institute of Sociology (University of Warsaw). Collaborates with the Czterdzieści i cztery. Magazyn Apokaliptyczny (Forty and Four. The Apocalyptical Revue). Member of the Programme Board of Polish Civic Forum. Published i.a. "Erinnerungskultur des 20. Jahrhunderts in Polen und Deutschland" (Warszawa 2009), "Portret młodego pokolenia" (Gdansk 2009)
Lukáš Petřík (1981) – Editor-in-Chief of the major Czech eurocritical website –

Jan Filip Staniłko (1979) – Political analyst of the major Polish right-wing think-tank Sobieski Institute (Warsaw). Member of the editorial board of Arcana Review (Cracow).
Michał Szułdrzyński (1980) – Home affairs editor of the major Polish daily Rzeczpospolita. Former editor-in-chief of the major conservative periodical Nowe Państwo. He collaborates with the Centre for the Political Thought (OMP, Cracow)
Matyáš Zrno – Journalist (previously in Respekt weekly and Czech TV), political analyst of the Civic Institute (Prague) – the oldest Czech conservative think-tank. He is an expert on the Balkans and social politics of the EU.
